  • Beautiful sentiments and beautiful artwork! You have captured the last days of Summer.
    HUGS!!! :-)

  • That is a lovely painting. It is hard to believe that summer is over since we are dry state and cannot tell when one season ends and another starts. We really need a bad winter this year, or next summer is going to be ugly with severe water use controls.

  • Beautiful!! One last chance for the "Fun in the sun," before the cold sets in....

Sad thing is, it's already cold here! I heard that Lincoln is supposed to have snow over night, and that means we, in our little town 45 minutes to the South, will also get a brushing....

Trouble is, though it's cold, it'll still be too warm for the snow....What ever falls over us, will not even hit the ground....

Temps are supposed to get warm again tomorrow...In the 60's....

  • I like the shines of the sun here, and the colors in the clouds closest to it.
I like that you didn't make the mother uber-skinny, nor put the father into a speedo (eww).
I am thinking it was on purpose, but I see my eyes flow between the characters because you have them all touching and the fact that they each face each other rather than all looking at one focal point. Reminds me of art class.

  • Well done ,John .
yes the end of summer is better than in July and August for us. Sun is there !
    In friendship

  • The beginning of September is the hottest time of the year here -- just after school begins!

  • Hehe! Looks like a little sunburn starting!

  • Not here, at least not 'til next week. I had to wear a jacket when I went out today. No rain, but not a sign of the sun either.
