A Theological Question
Lately I have been contemplating the nature of the Xangaverse. I believe Xanga is a microcosm of our own universe. In our universe we thinking human beings have come to understand the concept of an almighty deity. We model our understanding of this divine being based on our own perceptions of ourselves. Phrases like, God is good, God is Love or God is angry are based on our own perceptions of our own emotions. We can't even begin to fathom an aspect of God which is imperceptible to our own self awareness. So in this vein of thinking I began to wonder, what other human characteristics does YHWH possess?
And thus my theological question for the intellectually curious Xangan; Does God ever get hungry?
What do you think? There are different types of hunger to consider too. People hunger for knowledge or hunger for power or wealth. What would an ultimate divine being hunger for? In the Xangaverse what does the ultimate Xangan hunger for? What do you hunger for the most?
Maybe I should stop thinking and just go fix something to eat.

I agree with the selective moral outrage. I don't want to make people believe in my opinions even though they're mostly right! I think I'll switch from Republican to Conservative Libertarian. Is there such a party? Shall I start one?
dang....I need to go back and read the question again =() just kiddin.....I don't think God is hungry, to think of him as anything other than perfect isn't anywhere I go. So that leaves the xangahunger, I hunger for more interaction like this, even/or the useful voodoo spells, you just never know, do you? This leads to the question of why you blog so much when I'm not connected to the internet? anyway... that's my answer and so far..... the amount of traffic on xanga is just about what I can handle at work, I'm home right now but rarely do I connect from home, I miss some of the others but the left behinds are meeting my needs, any more questions? God is beyond the physical universe and without need or hunger. A Xangan hunger for company, support, sharing ideas. My biggest hunger is to deepen my knowledge of God.

if it is true that we were created in God's image then it would stand to reason tha God would have all of them.And since humans are not perfect and are not good all the time. Then it would stand to reason that God is not perfect. Nor is God good all the time.The church has it all wrong.
When I read the question the first thing that came to mind was from Exodus 34:14. It says that Gods is so jealous of our worship that His name is Jealous. This says to me that the comments by most here the He hungers for our Love seems to ring true. On another note, I really have no problem with people attributing human emotion or feeling to God. Obviously it is like comparing perceiving the properties of Lake Michigan from a pond in your back yard, but the Bible tells me that I was made in God's image. It seems to me that this is more about things like how we are wired emotionally and spiritually than about my physical body. He is said to Love, to get angry, to be pleased, to be jealous, etc. We may not get anything near the whole picture, but I think we can only work from what we understand. Right now... I hunger to understand my own bizarre and continual return to my own brokenness. Makes no sense. (sorry - I went all serious, just true)
He made us in His image in a beautiful and wonderful way. Something I have heard makes me believe He wanted companionship when He created man. In the eons before earth was created and Lucifer fell from being the light bearer to the prince of darkness God may have wanted proof that man of His own free will, will follow and love His Creator. I think I'll have some coffee now.
God is love and is hungry of love And in the Xangaverse we like to be creative and to be in relation with others ; STAYING ALONE ON XANGA IS NOT GOOD;iN FRIENDSHIPmICHEL.
I agree with @m_elmer_48. I think God loves his creation and hungers for us to trust Him and live our lives like his Son did...loving others, helping others, etc. I hunger to be a better person...so do more each day to help others...I hunger for joy, peace, love, mercy, forgiveness in our world (Xanga and the BIGGER world!) I want people to treat others with respect and care...like they want to be treated in return.HUGS!!!

In my humble opinion, I think he is hungry for man to love man and hungry that there be no war and that people should get off their behind and help each other. I had goat curry with naan. it was yummy.

I think you should go fix something to eat. God evidently hungered to have someone to love Him who was not forced to love Him. Though I sure don't understand why.

Yes I think he does...He hungers for his children to do right...He hungers for all of his sheep...He hungers for what is right and true...He is our ultimate parent and he wants what is best for all of us...and as for your other question What do I hunger for?...only the shadow knows the answer to that for sure...lol
@murisopsis - I just had broiled tomatoes in olive oil with basil and mozzarella cheese, but I am still hungry.
