There is often more than one way to do the right thing. The straightest course may not always be the best course, even though both courses take us to the same destination.
Remember; On this voyage of life, it is indeed the voyage and not the final port of call that truly defines us.

The end justifies the means... in order to reach the desired final port of call in life, we have to know how we travel. That's what I think.
loose women-I just knew you would tease me, John...or maybe I'm getting you mixed up with Donkey.
I love this this is beautiful...but then I think my favorite one is in my living room
I heard a speaker say once that their is just a short dash between this date and that on our tombstone but she can make it what we want to. Something like that and it impressed me.
Thanks for the comment about mom, she was 80yrs old and now is 88yrs old so that is when we realized just how confused she was. I guess my kids will have fun with me someday-wait they already tease me now. My sons like to say mom, it's a cell not called car phone. LOL
Yes, we are sailing and too often we forget the importance of the day. When I pull into port I hope I can say, 'It was well with my soul.'
Love the painting and thoughts.
I want that picture!!
Well said John and as we said in France "all roads lead to rome "!
