Time Flies
Physicists in Germany have discovered "Time Flies", small unidentified and yet to be explained particles traveling at faster than light speed, from what they theorize as a parallel universe through our own and possibly into another parallel universe. Researchers at the Heidelberg Institute have detected faster than light particles which appear and then vanish after traveling great distances in nearly immeasurable times. They estimate that these particles can travel 2.3 parsecs (70 trillion kilometers) in less than 3 nanoseconds (3 x 10 -9 seconds or 3/1,000,000,000 of a second)
Professor Ausdenken explains that parallel universes do not exist at the same time, but rather at different times from our own. Some how these particles are able to jump from one universe to the next by accelerating to faster than light speeds and jumping across time, thus passing through our universe. Though these particles can not be seen directly, evidence of their existence and path of travel has been observed by German scientists aboard the International Space Station using sophisticated imaging technology, which records interference in the contents of intergalactic space.
In German these Zeit Fliegt or Time Flies refers to the miniscule high energy particles as insects, but Professor Ausdenken warns that it is highly unlikely that these are living entities of any sort. One can't help but wonder, but what if they were?

ha - I do believe in banannas
Time flies....Matter, particles or mass, moves constantly....Even faster then sound, it moves....Strange thing though, we don't see it, but it's there, to fly, to move, faster then time flies, and sound....
Very interesting
I wish I could rec this!
And today I heard the sounds (kind of eerie/creepy) from the other parts of space. They showed it like a historic event.
I can believe it. Why not?
Interesting!!!
I like good science and a good stimulation. And I appreciate a good imagination.
I know time flies...it seems like life flies, too.
But, flies...UCK...if they step on my food, I'm done eating. I can just imagine where their little feet have been, and it's not good!
HUGS!!!
Anyway the knowledges in science always are a temporary model of explanation that works in a time until new experiences or discovery make it false or uncomplete and the scientists build a new model of representation. more we progress more we have to discover and so on ...until...? A scientist have to stay humble and modest.

I was going to say it kind of sounds like a joke. "Professor Ausdenken" = "Professor Thinkitout", for example.
The idea's been around for a while, though, and there are loopholes in the math and physics, so who knows? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tachyon
sounds like part of the premise for philip pullman's dark materials trilogy - while the books made for compelling reading - the movie failed miserably.
I guess we have an infestation then!
interesting to think about but I have enough with here and now; always want to live in the past or future.
Did you read Stephen King's book about Kennedy it was about going into the past and changing history-The butterfly Affect
some people say there was a movie about it -how you change one thing and you change all of history but I didn't see the movie.
I have to admit that the discussion about the existence of other universes and dimensions is over my head - or perhaps parallel to it. I just want a transporter, is that too much to ask of the physicists.
Totally irrelevant to our existence, yet interesting as hell.
I cannot even take care of my yard without a gardener, and there is nothing her but me to speculate. lol That sounded fast. lol
I remember being forced to take astronomy in college when I was a Bus. Ad. major and the professor showed us a photo of an exploding star or something and said that happened 50,000 years ago, but we just saw it since it took that long for the light of it to travel this far. lol
I thought that was interesting, but not as much as cost accounting. lol
I do not know what to say to such a find.

"Time flies like an arrow, but fruit flies like a banana."
Parallel universes exist at different times? So is our "present" a parallel universe's "past" or maybe "future"?
They should have named 'Time Flies" DeLoreans!
There is nothing like good science fiction to stimulate the imagination.
